Well the main gotcha is it's still beta (unless it got released in the last few days) and last time I looked beta installations can't be upgraded to the finished RTM so you will have to completely re-install to get to the full version.<br />

I also went to a SQL 2008 PASS seminar last month, and while it all looked good and promising, it wasn't that stable. And the presenter admitted he'd upgraded to the latest CTP and it trashed itself so he had to reinstall from scratch.<br />
<br />
As for upgrading 2005 to 2008, that was quite late to be done in the 2005 release and I would imagine it would be the same this time.<br />
<br />
I was an active participant in the 2005 beta, but not this time so I can't say for certain, but I'd expect some pain!<br />

We are thinking of moving from SSRS 2005 from to SSRS 2008 and I was wondering if anyone on EE has done this move?<br />
If there is any gotcha and if even the move is worth it, what are the pros and cons to such move?<br />
