Yes, but you'll need two additional sites in IIS in order for it to work. You create two DNS A record entries which point to the IP address of the Sharepoint Server. Then, you need to open the IIS manager on that server, and create two sites which listen on the host headers site1 and site2. These sites can then be configured so that their Home Directory is a redirect to <a href="http://server/site1" rel="ugc">http://server/site1</a>&nbsp;or <a href="http://server/site2" rel="ugc">http://server/site2</a>.<br />

Sure, you create two different A records in DNS &quot;Site1&quot; and &quot;Site2&quot; and point them to the same IP.<br />

You go in the IIS manager and (this is assuming IIS6) right click on the Virtual directory that was created for &quot;Site1&quot; go to Properties, click on the Advanced button that should be on the page in front of you. Here you can modify the sites &quot;Bindings&quot;. You should already see one listed in the top pane that just has port 80 in it.<br />

You can modify that one and add the host header &quot;site1.domain.local&quot; and then add a second that also listens on port 80 and use host header &quot;site1&quot;. <br />

Do the same for the other virtual directory.

OK, both ideas seem to make sense. However, I don't see any virtual directories for either site. I have attached what I see.<br />

Also, with the first response.....I am unable to configure the home directory of a new site to point to an http site because it does not allow for any special characters.<br />
