The last option is kind of what i am looking for but my three email addresses do not have a computer assigned to them they are just accounts on the server. It looks like they have to have a pc running outlook for them. My accounts are: exa. daily@xxx.com, alarm@xxx.com error@xxx.com. They will get mail to the server and from there the attachment will be removed and placed in a network folder

I assume you're not Running SBS 2003? If you are then running the Internet Connection Wizard will allow you to configure the removal of attachments.

Other than that it will be down to third party Applications. GFI Mail Essentials will remove extentions as specified.

However, a script to run server side I have not come across that functions correctly.
