You could use something such as Ontrack to extract the mailboxes as PST's on start again with a new Mailbox Store and import the mail with ExMerge.<br />

However, have you tried eseutil /p to repair the database before doing something as drastic?

have tried eseutil /p nd it fails with jet error -1605 (JET_errKeyDuplicate, Illegal duplicate key)

Will check on the whole system mailbox object thing. &nbsp;Seems logical that a System Object created for the mailbox store would exist in the System Objects Container. &nbsp;Will also call Ontrack again in the morning. &nbsp; I wish we could restore from backup...but the server runs fulls nightly on the same tape. &nbsp;Last backup contained the corrupt database so restoration is not an option. &nbsp;Will post exact errors in the morning from the server. &nbsp;Thanks for help thus far.

Check to see if the Everyone group has Full Control permissions on the drive. Not having this permission may sometimes cause this error

chkdsk finished...fixed an error in the mdbdata folder. &nbsp;Event viewer now post error 9518. &nbsp;Installing patch per MS article 930241. &nbsp;Will try and mount the Mailbox Store when the server restarts. &nbsp;Will also check the permissions on the drive. &nbsp;Will update momentarily.

So I was changing the permissions on the mailbox store...according to the MS article996629 and now the store is missing, which is bad. &nbsp;I need to use DSACLS to change them, but I am in the dark as to using this utility.
