Active Directory (AD) is a Microsoft brand for identity-related capabilities. In the on-premises world, Windows Server AD provides a set of identity capabilities and services, and is hugely popular (88% of Fortune 1000 and 95% of enterprises use AD). Method 1:
Go to terminal server --> Computer Management --> Local Users and Groups --> Groups --> Remote Desktop Users --> choose what groups or what users who have the right to access TS.
Method 2:
Create new OU --> Create GPO --> Computer Configuration --> Windows Settints --> Local Policies --> User Right Assignment --> Allow log on locally --> also choose what groups or what users who have the right to local this server. And then move Terminal Server into this new OU.
Finally, only allowed specific groups or users are able to access Terminal Server by either method
