Configure virtual directories in web servers.

Can someone point me to a good resource that gives instructions on configuring virtual directories in ISS, an also in Apache.

Which web server is easier to do it in?  But if one is easier, does that limit the features that are available when making virtual directories?

IIS let you config virtual hosting really easy, and you have every option you need avalaible at the management console. It's working for me really good.

Well, really I use both of them, but if you have a Windows Server ready, try IIS first. So always is better to run Apache over Linux/Unix.

Microsoft IIS Web Server

IIS is Internet Information Services, the web server included with Windows Server operating systems. All current versions are built on a modular architecture; modules can be added or removed individually so that those required for specific functionality are installed. The full installation of IIS includes HTTP, security, content, compression, caching, logging and diagnostics.
