chinese characters in html form

Hi,

I'm doing a Chinese translation for my website (using Dreamweaver), and have transferred the existing form in English across to the new page in Chinese, but it is not accepting Chinese characters for input into the fields for submission. The content type for the page is charset-utf8. Any ideas? Would appreciate any assistance, and please be kind, I'm a newbie ;)

Cheers, Nikkysix

Thanks everyone for your help! In the end I rejigged it to the form field not mandatory, and it seems to be working now. Don't know why, but it does?! Thanks again.

Okay no problem.

You should still follow the advice given above though to ensure reliability in the future :-)
