VB.Net express 2008 error

Hi Experts,

I have started getting the following error when I try and run an application I wrote.

Error      1      The item "obj\Debug\Logger.Form1.resources" was specified more than once in the "Resources" parameter.  Duplicate items are not supported by the "Resources" parameter.      Logger

What does it mean? The app. has been running fine until now.

try with this trick:
1.Detatch your form from the project
2.Attach it again

Also, make a backup of your form files previous to this operation.
To elaborate a bit more, you have to do this at the Solution Explorer.
Choose the form item and press right button, option "Exclude from project"
To attach it again in the solution explorer, choose "Add existing", a file dialog will appear, choose the proper form files.

jaime_olivares:

I do not have the exclude from project option when right click from the solution explorer.
are you right clicking over the form item?
if not just select it and press delete button
be sure to make a copy of your form files before doing this, to avoid an unexpected physical deletion from harddisk

Hi jaime_olivares:,

The delete restore did not work. I think I will create another project and copy my code files across. Do you know what files I need to copy across to transfer the GUI I designed?
