asked on

no incoming mail

Hello,

I have a strange problem with my outlook 2007 SP1 w mercur mailserver.
Yesterday till the evening no problem with incoming mail, suddenly this morning I have no more incoming mail. I always get an error code 0x800CCC07 that the connection to the server is stopped.
Another collegue who is working with outlook 2003 SP3 has the same problem with the same error code. This just started this morning...

I searched the internet and this is what I did already:
Deleted the .srs file
Created a new profile
Created my user settings again

This is what the mail server tells me:

Disabling NTLM doesn't do the trick. Any ideas?

Do you currently use antivirus add-in for outlook?
Also check to be sure you can telnet to the ports used for pop/smtp (telnet  110, telnet  25).  You should get a response such as:
Mercury Mail ready
Are you able to connect with other mail clients or using web based (if installed)?

Hi Evan,

If I telnet to both ports there is no problem. I have no A-Virus installed and work with Vista Business 32 SP1. I have 3 other mailaccounts configured to other mailservers and they work perfect.
