Mambots used: Joomla LDAP and LDAP SSI
LDAP source = Windows 2003 Active Directory
Problem: I am trying to configure LDAP authentication for Joomla so that users can authenticate to the website and their account gets created automatically.
I have succeeded so far that I am able to logon by typing "AD\username", but avoiding that "AD" in the beginning makes me grazy.
I have tried to put settings like CN=AD (or O=AD or OU=AD), DC=xxx, DC=yyy, DC=com everywhere in settings (Base DN, Users DN) and "AD\ or AD\&[search]" in search string etc... but no success so far. Either logon fails totally or I am able to logon AD\username but not just with "username".
I have followed
http://sammoffatt.com.au/jauthtools/LDAP_Tools/Install_Guide and MS Active Directory related documentation, but haven't been able to find answer so far.
I don't know how our AD is configured excactly, but with other LDAP systems authenticating towards Active Directory AD\%s worked just fine. For Joomla LDAP it doesn't and I do not understand what I am doing wrong.
