Convert a CMYK JPEG to RGB using Imagick PHP Extension

We have script on a site that creates a thumbnail of a larger image using the imagick PHP extension and imagemagic.

The issue we have is that some of the images being uploaded to the site are going to be CMYK, and as suck the browser doesn't display the thumbnails.

I know if we had used imagemagick directly using PHP to call it using the EXEC function, then we wouldn't have this problem because I've found loads of solutions to the problem if we were to use imagemagick via the commend line.

Does anyone know if there is a way to convert CMYK JPEGS to RGB using the Imagick PHP extension?
