Convert logo to vector?

I've worked on a logo mascot in Photoshop, but realized when i was finished that i have to be able to scale it both up and down to be used on t-shirts and big banners etc.

I don't know how to use illustrator so i was hoping someone could help me either convert or recreate it for me.

I've attached an image of the file in here and the .psd can be downloaded at the link in the code snippet.

I hope someone out there can help me.

I've tried the livetrace in illustrator, but it doesn't make anything useful.

I'd like to create a tutorial for this post, but want to make sure that Madsklitg has the files on time. I won't be able to create the tutorial until tomorrow. Is there a way to exchange the file over EE?
