Excessive Event ID: 7011. Should I be concerned?
In reviewing my event log on my exchange server, I find event id error 7011 about every minute. This is not something I recall ever seeing before. Along with that, in the application log, are several event errors: 7010. Are they related?
I started down this path because I'm working at putting a new computer on the network and keep losing the connection and find it's having trouble acquiring an address.
Am I missing something important?

Source = Service Control Manager
Message: Timeout (30000 milliseconds) waiting for response from the vxsvc service
I did see another reference to that message suggesting an increase in the timeout time, but I was unable to follow that advice (use of a bat file to change time to 60000).

As to the first suggestion, I could not restart the DMS service, nor could I find the vxsvc process to kill it. Hmm.
Before I try the second, what exactly does diskperf do?
I may try to reboot the server on general principal later.

Forgive if this is a dumb question, but how will I see the results?
