How do I reassign drive letters in an unattended Sysprep image deployment?

I am working to develop a completely unattended image deployment of XP SP2 using Sysprep.  So far all is good with one exception.  The base computer build has an installed card reader that holds four drives.  Regardless of changing drive letters or registry edits prior to running Sysprep, the Reseal and Setup process restores these four drives to defaults.

Upon adding a workstation to our local domain, several drives are mapped with specific drive letters.  The Sysprep default for the card reader drives blocks one of our network mappings.  I cannot change the network mappings and am looking for an unattended solution to change drive letters during the Sysprep mini-setup process.

Currently I'm trying to find or write a batch script that will rename the registry key value for the drives but have had little luck with success.  Is there a process that anyone can suggest and/or a .inf or .bat file that can be shared and added to the Sysprep unattended process?

Many thanks.

I'm figuring that the easy solution is a command line change to be added to the sysprep.inf setup but I am open to any proffered solutions.
One easy solution would be to disable/Unistall the Card reader previos to Sysprep.
