HELP! Print Spooler not starting

I just tried to add a print driver LJM2727-PCL6-netpnp-win32-ww.exe to our print server, it started to run a whole package install, so I canceled it (end task).  Now my print spooler will not restart even after a reboot, add remove programs shows nothing.

All my other 100 printers are now down until I can get the print spooler back online!!
someone please help!

Hopefully not bringing you larger issues, but since your dead in the water have you considered rerunning the install and letting it finish, if it rescues it self at that point you can uninstall the bloat.

Also anything in event log on the service failure to start?

Have you tried to manual start the print spooler service?

If you go to start then run
Type in "services.msc" then it ok
Scroll down unitl you see print spooler and double click on it.
Then make sure it is set to automatic and hit start if it is not started.
Then test the print server.

@zoofan
Yes, I have tried rerunning the install, no go
Log entreis are mostly blank in event viewer, but there is a error code 1722 for the server service, otherwise just entries saying it stopped, and is tryuing to restart
I am reading your docs now

@glozen
Yep, it starts, then stops right away as soon as I touch it in any way.
Chat will not start, the serial is not on the printer web page, and It is off site
Web link is not like the issue we are having, I have called HP, and am on hold.
actually that error is relevant

Reading this thread on that error
The server service was unable to map error code 1722

"This is related to the print spooler service. Some folks have moved the spooler to another directory and are able to keep this error in check.

"Also, the default permissions for the winnt\system32\spool\printers directory are: Administrators: Full, Power Users: Change, Creator Owner: Full, Everyone: Read and System: Full.
"Make sure everyone has permissions.

Stop the spooler, run a command line utility called Cleanspool, and restart the spooler. That might straighten it out.

I should have added that the command line for cleaning the spool is:
