Hi
I want to deny access to specfic ips

List of client ips
CLNT1) 10.10.10.1
CLNT2) 10.10.10.2
CLNT3) 10.1.4.2
CLNT4) 10.1.4.3
CLNT5) 10.1.4.4

SVR1: APACHE PROXY SERVER 10.10.10.18
SVR2: APACHE WEB SERVER 10.10.10.19

My problem is I want  to allow access to only ips 10.1.4.2 to 10.1.4.255 @ the APACHE WEB SERVER in 10.10.10.19, but the apache web server(SVR2) gets the ip information forwarded from apache proxy server(SVR1), that Client IP information is stored in 'HTTP_X_FORWARDED_FOR' but the 'REMOTE_ADDR' always gives the IP of the Proxy Server (SVR1)

Can I use the .htaccess allow/deny methods to allow/deny access to client IPs at the APACHE WEB SERVER. We dont have access to the configuraion of the proxy server(SVR1) so thats the problem.
