PowerBuilder 10.0.1 build 6064 shows junk for Arabic Data
I'm using Oracle 9i ODBC Connection with PowerBuilder 10.0.1.6064. When I'm querying thru DB Profile and Datawindow, its showing Junk for Arabic Data.
I have already done the Reginal Settings -> Advanced Page to Arabic(Bahrain) and
Registry NLS_LANG in all the 3 places to AMERICAN_AMERICA.WE8MSWIN1
Kindly help me to resolve this issue.

DB Profile or Datawindow are unknown software products for me.
You have to localize these products according the manuals.

I have done the localization in my pc and NLS_LANG for the Oracle Registry settings also.
but still problem exists.
Any powerbuilder expert can answer my question please....

On an Arabic-enabled or Hebrew-enabled version of Windows, you can display text in right-to-left order and test for Arabic or Hebrew characters in strings.
Functions
The existing IsArabic function takes a character as an argument and returns TRUE if the character is an Arabic character. There are three new functions, all of which take a string as an argument and return a boolean value.

Hi,
what you are giving me the link is realted with PB 6. I'm working in PowerBuilder ver 10 and 11. Till PowerBuilder 7, I did not face any issues for arabic data. As I have written in my previous mail, PC Reginal setting is done for Bahrain Arabic.

I am not PowerBuilder guy and this is not a PowerBuilder forum.

I dont have problem with connecting to Database. I have problem with my arabic data only. When I'm retrieving thru Oracle*Plus, it's showing Arabic Data Properly. But, When I'm retrieving thru DB Profile or Datawindow, its shows JUNK.
Kindly help me to resolve this issue.
