PC will not shut down when USB Wireless Device is attached
I have an odd error happening with a brand new Lenovo A55 desktop PC I have installed at a clients place. It runs Windows XP with the usual other software programs and no complex programs. I have also installed a D-Link Wireless modem/ router and a D-Link USB Wireless adapter. I have used this combo for internet connections hundreds of times without any issue. On this particular PC, if I connect the USB wireless adapter, when I go and shut down the PC, the PC powers down, then 2 seconds later it fires up again. It simply will not shut down with the wireless adapter connected. If I take the wireless adapter out and connect the ethernet cable into the system from the modem/router, the PC behaves perfectly.
I have checked all BIOS settings, and also changed the USB wireless adapter but the system still does the same thing.
Has anyone else come across this issue or know of something else I can check that will fix this?
Thanks

In the BIOS settings is "Wake up on LAN" enabled?

No I have disabled that thinking that was the problem first off!
