Farhan,

Some people wanted this method. Can i know why this cert's are required. Where do we get them and why are they used.

Farhan one more thing if you remember the Disable users script you gave me some time back (Long time ago) . Need some help on that. Can you tell me if you have the time now?. I shall post a new Q then.
The groups dont get deleted correctly and some more additions too.

Hi Sharath,

Farhan is correct with the method described to distribute certificates through Group Policy. To answer your second question, certificates are used by workstations in an Active Directory environment for several things, including the encryption of information, trusts between computers (L2TP IPsec VPNs are an example).

Usually, you would install and configure your own Certification Authority on one of your servers in order to generate and distribute the appropriate certificates.
