Setting widescreen and other resolutions on guest on VMware Server.
I have done this a while back and have since forgotton, and it is getting so hard to find CORRECT info on the net anymore, I thought Id give you experts a try.
I have Ubuntu as a guest OS on VMware server (edit, corrected version info) 1.06 (not 1.6xx). It will not allow for widescreen or other resolutions higher than 640x480 inside ubuntu. There was a way to change one of the vmware configs manually to allow for more resolutions but I simply cannot remember how.
Anyone out there know? Thanks
