We recently had power outage at datacenter causing SUN Solaris 8 machines to come to a screetching halt. I was able to get this one running; however, whenever we start applications as background processes, and close the putty ssh session, the processes seem to also close. Please advise what may be the issue. One suggestion is the environment.
Thanks in advance!
