setting TARGETDIR using registry launch condition
We need to upgrade an existing version. The install path is stored in the registry.
During upgrade, the install location should be prepopulated with the path from registry
if it exists otherwise should default to the [Company Name] [Product] etc.
I followed everything in "http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa301784.aspx"
but the TARGETDIR is always getting set to default. If i change the default location
in Application folder to [REG_INSTALL_PATH], then it populates the path from registry if exists but is defaulting to C:\ if the path does not exist.
