I am fairly new to Sybase on Windows and I'm in the process of moving our Production dataserver to a new host. I want to see if there was any thoughts about the best way to layout the devices. In the current ASE there is no ogranization of the devices.<br />

The devices for log, tempdb, data are spread over the four disks some on the same disk so I'm just wondering if there is a preferred method to setup the devices for optimum performance.<br />
