I am fairly new to Sybase on Windows and I'm in the process of moving our Production dataserver to a new host. I want to see if there was any thoughts about the best way to layout the devices. In the current ASE there is no ogranization of the devices.

The devices for log, tempdb, data are spread over the four disks some on the same disk so I'm just wondering if there is a preferred method to setup the devices for optimum performance.
