Monitor Bandwidth Utilization Over Frame Relay
About 5 months ago we established a 1.54 MB Frame Relay between two offices. There is a Go-Global server running on XP in one office that users from the remote office connect to in order to access an application server (2003 Standard) in the main office and users from the remote office have always reported poor performance. I think the maximum number of users that ever connects simultaneously is 6 but even when only a couple are connected, they complain about the performance. The servers are fairly new and very much capable of handling their load. Users in the main office never report any performance issues when accessing the same resources.
I am looking for a way to measure peak and average bandwidth usage over this Frame Relay connection to ensure that the proper step to take to resolve the issue would be to step up to a full T1.
Any feedback would be appreciated.
