Outlook RPC/HTTP and IIS default web connection problmems

Hello,
We have a SBS  2003 R2 box with ISA2004 for the past year or so.
Every thing worked perfect, we we're able to work with Outlook from remote with RPC/HTTP or
via OWA.

Couple of days ago, RPC/HTTP stopped working for some reason.
I tried to run the Internet connection wizard, after that the default web site which is the welcome to SBS and links to the OWA and remote connection, is not accessible from the Internet.
It opens authentication window prompt for user and password (non will work).
The strange part (for me) is that for the LAN all is working ok.
I can go into the default web site either with http://server name or http://www.domain.co.il
same goes to the /exchange .
Gone through tones of docs about configuration of the RPC/HTTP etc all looks OK (to me at least)
I suspect it has some thing to do with the IIS as the default web site is not working as it should.
On the ISA nothing changed.

Tested DCDiag and Netdiag also RPCPING, nothing in the IIS logs.

C:\Documents and Settings\user>rpcping -t ncacn_http -s mydomail.co.il -o RpcProxy=mydomain.co.il -P "user_name,do,momain,*" -I "user_name,doamin,*" -H 2 -u 10 -a connect -F 3 -v 3 -E -R none
RPCPing v2.12. Copyright (C) Microsoft Corporation, 2002
OS Version is: 5.1, Service Pack 2
Enter password for server:
Enter password for RPC/HTTP proxy:
RPCPinging proxy server mydomain.co.il with Echo Request Packet
Sending ping to server
Error 12175 returned in the WinHttpSendRequest.
Ping failed.

Could not find any helpfull info on this error.

Any idea or advise on how to resolve this issue would be greatly appreciated .

Kind Regards,

Ran.

Sorry for my late response,
was out on Summer vacation.

On the connection issue you were right on the ball ...
The connection I've used, had block the https for some reason.
When I checked it again from other connection, it all worked ok.
The recreation of the SSL certificate solved the issue and the I have to open
OWA and install the new certificate. Only after that, Outlook started to work
with RPC/HTTP.

many thanks for your help.

Ran.
Glad you got it working!
