resetting secure channel
I have a broken trust problem on a subdomain.
When I try to validate and or reset the trust, the server says access denied, because of secure channels.
This is the error message I get in the validate menu.
"
The secure channel (SC) verification on domain controller \\skovmosedc1.skovmose.rod ovre.local of domain skovmose.rodovre.local to domain rodovre.local failed with error: Access is denied.
The secure channel (SC) reset on domain controller \\skovmosedc1.skovmose.rod ovre.local of domain skovmose.rodovre.local to domain rodovre.local failed with error: Access is denied.
The secure channel (SC) reset on domain controller \\bkfpdc0.rodovre.local of domain rodovre.local to domain skovmose.rodovre.local failed with error: There are currently no logon servers available to service the logon request.
"
When I try to reset the secure channels using netdom, it says "The specified domain either does not exist or could not be contacted.
DNS is working fine all the way around.
I can ping everything in all of the domain on both netbios names and DNS names.
What can I do about this trust problem?
