Two domains, One Forest, One Exchange Server - How to setup users from the non-exchange server domain
Hi Everyone,
I currently have two domains (let's call them domainA.com and domainB.com) which seperate trees within the same forest.
I need to be able to setup one exchange server (which is already part of domainA.com) for users of both domains.
I know I can receive email for two different domains on one exchange server but I am struggling to provide access to users of domainB.com to the exchange server using any information I can find on this site and microsoft. I have tried to associate an external account but obviously can't because they are part of the same domain.
Can anyone please provide a solution to setting up the users on domainB.com.
Thanks

When I installed the second domain - I installed it under the domainA.com forest using the normal AD wizard. It automatically setup the trust relationships etc for me, which work fine.
Thanks

Ok, is this on the domainB.com controller or the domainA.com controller to recognise the changes?
Surely if I've run ADPromo on domainB.com that should run forest prep and domain prep.
Thanks
