Is there any way to generate a UML diagram for an existing visual basic 6 application for free?<br />
I have just started looing into UML and am curious how my application would look in a UML diagram.<br />
There are some tools out there, but they are not free. :-(<br />

Current VB6 application to UML

A modeling language is any artificial language that can be used to express information or knowledge or systems in a structure that is defined by a consistent set of rules. The rules are used for interpretation of the meaning of components in the structure; modeling languages can be either graphical or textual. The Unified Modeling Language (UML) is a general-purpose, developmental, modeling language in the field of software engineering, that is intended to provide a standard way to visualize the design of a system.

Modeling Languages

Visual Basic is Microsoft’s event-driven programming language and integrated development environment (IDE) for its Component Object Model (COM) programming model. It is relatively easy to learn and use because of its graphical development features and BASIC heritage. It has been replaced with VB.NET, and is very similar to VBA (Visual Basic for Applications), the programming language for the Microsoft Office product line.

Visual Basic Classic

Programming theory deals with the design, implementation, analysis, characterization, and classification of programming languages and their individual features, along with introductory programming concepts like program structure, variable declaration and conditional and looping constructs. Sub-disciplines include the formal semantics of programming languages, type theory, program analysis and transformation, comparative programming language analysis, metaprogramming, domain-specific languages, compiler construction and run-time systems.
