I'm hoping to get some information on sFTP vs FTP over SSL.<br />

I've implemented a number of connections to sFTP servers in the past, using various sFTP clients. &nbsp;Now, specs for a new project list secure FTP to a server by accessing the url: <a href="https://servername" rel="ugc">https://servername</a>.<br />
<br />
This to me seems different from sFTP, and looks like some type of FTP access over SSL? &nbsp;Does this seem right? &nbsp;If anyone can explain the difference to me, I would really &nbsp;appreciate it.<br />

This to me seems different from sFTP, and looks like some type of FTP access over SSL?  Does this seem right?  If anyone can explain the difference to me, I would really  appreciate it.

sFTP vs FTP over SSL
