I think that having the server automatically restart could be asking for trouble, and I've seen a few servers not restart automatically for some reason.<br />
<br />
I'd rather control when and where the server restarted - I do set it to &quot;download updates but let me choose when to install them&quot; which makes life a little easier!

Windows server 2000/2003 maintenance procedures
