Citrix doesn't work in hotel where VPN Compatibility Mode enabled
One of my users has discovered that his Citrix connection doesn't work when he is staying at Marriott hotels. He has no problem getting an internet connection, but can't contact the citrix server.
These hotels use iBahn for their connectivity. iBahn support was able to get him to connect by disabling VPN compatibilty mode on their side.
However, it is done on an individual IP address basis, and he must call their support and have them disable VPN compatibility every time he needs access. We do not use VPN at all.
Is their anything we can do on our side to prevent this? We are using Presentation Server 4.5 and require 128bit encryption. I'm not sure what other settings on our side would be relevant.
Thanks!

Maybe not what you are looking for, but would giving him a VPN client be an option? If so, it would get him inside the company network where I presume he could directly communicate with the Citrix servers via an ICA connection, etc.

Thanks. That seems like it might work, but I'd like to avoid having to do that if there is a Citrix or AD policy change I can make instead.
