This doesn't sound like a Novell issue, sounds like Windows security settings to me. <br />

I have never used XP Embedded, but here's how I would fix this problem if it were happening to me in Windows XP.<br />
Under Control Panel, go to Internet Properties, and click on Security.<br />
Click on the Local Intranet icon, then click the button labeled SITES<br />
Uncheck the box labeled &quot;Automatically detect intranet network.&quot; <br />
Check the other three boxes and hit OK.<br />
Apply this change and try your action again. <br />
