We are creating a new server to store our My Documents use use for folder redirection. Is there an easy way to migrate the data to the new server with out having to do a full sync the first time the users log in after I update the GP? I tried it with my account, and even though I copied my folder over to the new box it still took a good 5~10 minutes to scan all the files. Now that it did, if I sync it manually it takes just a few seconds.

Is there anyway to migrate these files with out causeing a new sync to take place? We have some users with VERY large my docs that I dont' want to piss off.
