What port does RDM+ server side use?
I am running RDM+ on a machine at work and it seems rather slow. I need to know what port it works on so I can have a hole punched in the firewall to speed things up. I cant sniff though because our network people will get upset. Can anyone help me?

Yes, I know. That is what I meant by:
"I would assume that something other that a port not being open on the firewall is causing the performance problem."
The something else could be general network performance issue, traffic shaping, content/data stream filtering/checking. There is a whole slew of things that could cause performance problems.
If a port is blocked, you will not have a performance problem as you will have no traffic and thus no performance.

If there was no port already opened in the firewall, then it would not work at all. Since it is working, that means that it is already allowed through.
It uses port 80. I would assume that something other that a port not being open on the firewall is causing the performance problem.
I would suggest that you work with your network people to find out what is going on.
