Remove Legecy 2003 Exchange machine

I have recently migrated from Exchange 2003 to Exchange 2007 and I am trying to remove my legacy 2003 machine. I am getting the error that there are still mailboxes on this store. During the migration I moved some mailboxes and exported others to .pst files and deleted the mailboxes. I have used the ADSIEdit.msc tool to look at the homeMDBBL value and the only thing listed there are Microsoft System Attendant, SMTP, and SystemMailbox entries. I have also removed all of the legacy connectors and routing groups to try and clean things up. I'm at a loss of what to look at next.

Any help or direction would be great.

Thanks.

There may be some mailboxes hidden that you're not able to remove.

Check this article out for how to query LDAP for them: http://www.myitforum.com/articles/15/view.asp?id=7918

MidnightOne - I ran your query and it found 2 users. Pardon my ignorance, but now what do I do?

Thanks.

Ok...I think I figured out how to delete the mailboses. I ran MidnightOne's query on my entire domain and found two more mailboxes. One of them I was able to remove but the other one is the SystemMailbox and I am unable to remove it and when I try and remove Exchange 2003 I am still getting the same error.

Thanks
