Why does the window "Connect to (domain of mail server)" appear when outlook 2003 client tries to open received email?
Well...something weird is happening today:
Like the title questions states I have a standard outllook 2003 user who is trying to open an email received from another user (within the same exchange server). The received email was composed in OWA.
When the user attempts to open or "right click and print" the email a login box appears asking for a login name and password to our servers domain name...
I've never seen this before...weird....all other email works fine...
I've attached a picture of the box that pops up...
Thanks!
Ed.

Have you checked the actual URL of the hyperlink? Is it prefixed with your OWA url?

Thanks but its not a hyperlink that is being opened. Its a normal email that is in the users inbox. When you open it this happens...
THis may happend when the user may need to access the Printer
OWA with the client username and password may not have the permsiion on the printer

Sorry iteched1; I'm not sure how I managed to misread that so badly! :)

I didn't want to leave this question hanging...so thats the only reason its listed as partial. Once I have some time I'll be able to test it...just busy with other stuff at the moment. Thanks for helping out. Cheers! Ed.
