ODBC Driver Version
On my XP SP2 32 bit I have sqlsrv32.dll on version 2000.85.xxxx. On my XP SP2 64 bit I have sqlsrv32.dll 2000.86.xxxx.
I do not know where this 2000.86 comes from but it behaves differently (what I prefer).
a) MDAC 2.81 seems to distribute the 2000.85 where does the 2000.86.3959 comes from?
b) Is the .dll free? Can I distribute it with my app?
c) If I would just replace files on a PC; would that be enough or do I have to reregister the .dll.
d) I also found a .rll in the syste32 directory. What is that file for?

but where did the 2000.86.xxxx-Version come from if MDAC 2.81 (latest published version) is 2000.85.xxxx?? (I found the .86 to have one bug solved.)
