how to restric some users in order to get access to internet

Hello

In my company We have set the DHCP server that is giving IP addresses and the DNS servers in order to get out to internet and intranet, but We need that some users do not have to get internet access, only to the intranet of course all of the by DHCP

a temporaly solution was to define a scope with the dns servers, and the users that get ip of course they can get internet and intranet, for the other users we set a static IP addresess and in the lmhost file we set the ip address of the intranet, this is not the best practice of course

The best way to control this is to apply fake proxy settings for the users that you do not want to go to the internet.

You can set this settings in your group policy editor.

Another way to do this is with two dhcp scopes and deny the second dhcp scope access through the firewall, therefore you will not need to setup GPO so that users can't change proxy or dns settings

thanks all of you to aswer but here in the company We can not modify the policy editor, i am looking for another solution, i do not care if i need to add something in the settings of the explorer my strong point is to manage only one Scope for avoid the administration od IP and so or add something in the setting of the explorer quickly
