I think that would give me up to 5 drives at the same time but not always the 5 backups.<br />

so if on friday (day 5) they needed to recover data from earlier that week then that would be ok<br />
<br />
but say on monday (Day 1) when it overwrites the drive. If we needed to do a recovery from the previous week we would have allready overwritten that data.<br />
<br />
Is there a way of making 5 different scheduled backup jobs and have each job only overwrite the corresponding one from the week before?<br />

nah.. there's no simple way to do that.. unless you're using firewire/USB attached drives as your backup device, then rotate the 5 drives perhaps.. <br />

Using Windows backup to save a certain amount of backups before overwriting
