Introduce a blank subreport if no records are returned

Is there a way to introduce a blank report or statement like "No Records" into a report with subreports.  For example, I have a report with one sub report.  The main report will always return data, however the sub report may or may not return records.  I'd like to show something to the user even if no records return.
