Pinouts for the serial cable of a Wavecom WMOD2 GSM modem
Hi,
I recently purchased two Wavecom WMOD2 gsm modems on eBay, unfortunately without serial cables included. The modems use a 15 pins VGA connector. The manual includes a pinout, but after fabricating a cable myself by connecting the pins to the identical ones (function-wise) on a DB9 connector, I get rubbish on my terminal screen (even with the correct serial settings).
Does anyone have such a cable and is willing to check the pinouts for posting them in this site?
Thanks!!!!!

No cable I can check, but when you made yours, did you conect Tx to Tx or Tx to Rx?
ASKER
Tx to Tx, but I am indeed wondering if this is correct. If I need to reverse stuff, I also wonder if I need to connect DTR to DSR etcetera instead of going straightthrough for these pins.
It's been awhile since I did this, so naturally I can't find my wiring charts, but this page shows Rx to Tx and DTR to DSR.
