I have an external USB hard drive that has work from a Mac on it, so the hard drive has been formatted to a HFS+ filesystem.  I want to resize the partition and use the free space to create a new NTFS partition to back up work from my Windows PC.

I've been searching around and can't seem to find a way of doing this.  Are there any linux live CDs that can resize HFS+ filesystems without messing any of the work on it as i don't have anything else big enough to back  that work onto.

Looking for something free and safe to use.
