Is there a way to format text from a VB .NET application with Word bulleting?

One of my applications uses drag and drop for text/memo fields to place into Word documents. One particular field has numbered items I.E. 1) 2) 3) etc. Each line is followed by a vbCrLf character. I create this text using a StringBuilder.

When it is dragged to a Word document, the text appears as expected but if someone wants to continue, I would like Word to continue the bulleting.

How can I format the text, so that Word recognises it as bulleted items?

Thanks
