Linux/Windows winbind process high cpu usage when authenticating on active directory
I have a linux server that when a windows user attempts to open a share the winbind cpu usage approaches 100% and grinds the linux box to its knees. I can stop samba and restart to stop the winbind process but again when a windows user tries to access the share.. woosh! winbind fires off. This does not happen on every linux box and does not even seem to be version dependant.. I have no idea...
Thoughts? Thanks! Karl66
