Setting up a trust
How do I setup a trust between a client and server?
Can you elaborate some? Are the client and the server in the same domain? Is it a web client? What do you mean?
ASKER
They are in the same domain
Then there is no need to set up a trust. When the workstation is joined to the domain, it is given a computer account.
Perhaps do you mean encryption? What is it you are trying to accomplish, or what is it that's broken?

Sorry I do not exactly know what I want. I saw a computer today that seemed to have some features of being on the domain and some of being off. I asked the guy what he had done and he said he had setup a trust where the computer could login to the domain.
Go back and smack him in the head.
A trust is used for inter-domain communication, and inter-forest communication. Individual PCs cannot create trusts with anything.
