I have an Oracle 10g database for which OEM (and SQL Plus) are reporting seemingly incorrect space information about the flash recovery area. &nbsp;This ocurred after I had an issue with excessive redo and was forced to remove my archive logs (RMAN &gt;&nbsp;delete archivelog all;) and restart the database a couple of time.<br />

Parameter db_recover_file_size_dest is set to 25G. &nbsp;Currently the files on disk in the FRA occupy about 11.2 GB but OEM is reporting &quot;Free Flash Recovery Area at 2.17 GB. &nbsp;Additionally, OEM is reporting the following error instead of displaying the FRA usage chart on the Recovery Settings page:<br />

Unhandled exception during generation of chart Flash Recovery Area Usage. &nbsp;oracle.charts.types.ChartE<wbr />xception: Chart Builder Error: setSeries(): slice value must be non-negative.<br />

So it looks like, for whatever reason, the calculation of total and free space in the FRA is incorrect. &nbsp;<br />

Any ideas on how to fix this issue?
