Super Flash Drive not working
My friend has this Super Flash Drive USB 2.0 1 GB. However it is not working. She brought it to me and it was recognized by my computer as "something" as a USB. However, when I clicked on it, I was not able to copy anything to it. When I right-clicked on it, it says that 0 GB Used Space, 0 GBFree Space! So, is there anything that I can do to make this flash drive workable?
Thanks.
Oh, and both my friend and I have computers running Vista, if that makes a difference.
Thanks.

Basically it apparently is dead. I tried the above mentioned solutions but neither worked. Thanks away.
if it is dead, we cannot revive it; just say that it is dead, after testing things out -you should accept that as a good answer !

I guess "a good answer" is a solution, not a statement about the condition of the apparatus. I had asked "what can I do to make this flash drive workable." I did not ask "is it dead?"
>> I guess "a good answer" is a solution << not at all, if the device is dead, it is the only good answer possible
>> I had asked "what can I do to make this flash drive workable." << also, i posted a possible way to "revice" it (it has worked for me !)
imho - your question is answered; check this : https://www.experts-exchange.com/help.jsp#hi96

And I still disagree, as that did not "answer" my question . But if that is the case then I will "accept" SysExpert's "answer, since he was the first to suggest that "it probably died."

I personally don't see this as a solution.
i can live with that choice - no problem !
