I have an application developed in Visual C 6.0 (not by me) which calls reports created in Crystal Reports 6. Unfortunately, I don't have CR6 available to me, but I need to edit these reports. If I understand correctly, Crystal  Reports 9 and upward use different formatting, which would require updating the Visual C 6 app. My question -- if I use Crystal Reports 8.5 to update the reports, would they be call-able by my application without having to change the Visual C 6 code?

Hope this quesiton is clear; thanks in advance for your response.
