Safe to have dynamic IP, mail server, and ISP relay?
Currently I have a dynamic IP address from my ISP. I am using an in-house mail server and have set it to relay thru the ISP when sending, so it appears to be coming from the ISP instead of the dynamic IP address. Also, since it's a dynamic IP address, the host record gets updated with the registrar automatically every 5 minutes. Is this setup ok to depend on as far as sending and receiving mails? I want to make sure mail is actually getting to their destination and not even ending up in their junk box. I'm trying to weigh if it's really worth it to go for the static IP plan.
