On 08/04/2008 the web app www.iilinoisskillsmatch.com produced a deadlock situation which
ate up the CPU for the entire WAS and the server had to be restarted in production. This is not good for a state-wide application on which the server also host the Illinois Department of Employment Security
(IDES) internet services. I have attached one of the errors for the DB2 logs and an edited list of
application services which were effected by the deadlock.
How can I fix this even though it seems to be impossible to recreate a production senerio in test.
